Gendarme is Committed to Accessibility

We want everyone who visits the Gendarme website to feel welcome. We hope that our visitors have a rewarding experience while using our website and find/access the Gendarme products they’re looking for without any issues.

What are we doing?

To help us make the Gendarme website a positive place for everyone, we've been using multiple plugins and applications to help achieve accessibility. Many of the guidelines (WCAG 2.1), plugins, and applications we use have informed us how to make website content and web design more accessible for people with disabilities. We also hope to make our website more user-friendly for all of our visitors.

There is a blue tab with an accessibility icon at the top left side of the website. If you click on that tab, options will appear that make our website more accessible to visitors. The options available under this tab include: increasing text size, decreasing text size, changing the website colors to grayscale, changing the website to “high contrast” mode, changing the website to “negative contrast” mode, forcing the background to be light (white), underlining all links, and changing the font to a more readable font style. If you have any issues accessing this tab, please let us know.

How are we doing?

Achieving a high level of accessibility is a challenging and ongoing process, and we welcome any guidance or feedback from our customers and website visitors. We have worked hard on the Gendarme website but are aware that our work is not done. We are committed to working tirelessly every day to make our website accessible to all visitors, no matter who they are or the challenges they face. If you have any problems accessing our website, please get in touch.
